Ingredients
To start
Ice cream (I recommend vanilla)
1 Peanut Peanut cookie
1 ripe banana (optional, to serve with the sundae)
Maple Chocolate Sauce
270 g water, bring to boil
50 g maple syrup (plus more to taste // or sub stevia to taste)
110 g cocoa powder or cacao powder unsweetened
50 g minced chopped dark chocolate
1 generous pinch flaked sea salt (fleur de sel)
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Pinch of vanilla bean powder (optional)
Method
Make the maple chocolate sauce. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Place in a squeeze bottle or a jar. Let cool to 26C (room temperature).
While the maple chocolate sauce cools, remove the Peanut Peanut cookie from packaging. Add to a toaster oven at 350F for 5 minutes if it was thawed, or 10 minutes from frozen. Take out and place on plate.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, drizzle with chocolate sauce. Enjoy!
